6 NOV..Just came back from leadership camp organised by my sch wit the absorbent mind company..really learnt many things there..Abt committment,teamwork,endurance,deternination...etc..Nv regret going to this camp..Summary abt the camp:






DAY1-We reported to sch at 7am..I came along wit my luggage and backpack..lolx..forget bring bolster..blek..Abt 7.30,we gather at the atrium for briefings..LYE the main facililator told us wat is expected for the camp then disperse us to our groups for some ice breaking stuff..I was in Group 4..There were 13 of us..lets see if i can rmb all of them..

....Yeps..But the first day Vincci did nt join cause of some activities she had..Our Facililator was Andrew!!!..The first impression he gave was wow..!we gonna have a great time..he look very friendly and caring..so ya..He told us he was married wit two kids..both guy..Pri 5 & Sec1..yea..After sharing abt ourselves, the teachers distributed our (HLC) shirt..it was nice bright orange...Changed into the shirt then gather at the atrium again..All together there were 7 facililator..Think only noe some name..Lye,Andrew,Tony,Ivan,Harry..don noe the rest le..sry..Group 3,4,5 share one bus 1&2 share the other..sat wit Ginia..



When we reached Kota Tinggi Johor..We first went to the tentage for some briefing on wat to do..We were given our room key..Shared room wit Mei Hui and ShiMin..Sadly Joyce nv go:'(..Pang se la..hahas..jkjk..take cares worx..she was sick..:( ..Our room number was 318..beside our rm was Isabel's (317) and Mathew's(319)..Our rm had 4 single bed,a TV,bathroom,tables,overall was nice la..cannot expect much as this is a CAMP and not HOLIDAY!!..After unloading our stuff in the room..we gather at the canteen which need us to climb over a high slope..so far la..hate the slope:P..Had Bee hoon,Vegetables,Chicken and Eggs..After tt we had some lesson on the 5P & 10C..Which is:Model the way,Inspire a shared value,Encourage the heart,Challenge the process,Enable others to act..Lye explain thorougly abt the 5 practices..the first game we had was letter matching..he gave everyone a card tt consist diff letter..then he will ask us to form any word tt has a certain number of letters..which means we had to find people tt has a letter to make a word tt consist the amt of letter he wants..hahas..fun worx..this game was for us to get along better...at the same time find diff people nt only eur friends as nt necessarily our friends will have tt particular letter..yep..Later we went to our groups..





The second game was forming a group wit members facing at random directions...The facililator will then round us up wit tape..the rule is to walk to the finishing line without breaking the tape and the first group tt reaches there will win..our group gt second last..lolx..anyway..try harder^^..After tt game..anther lesson..then split into groups..we are then suppose to sit in groups and think of our group name and cheer..yeps..and heres our group name..happy to announce tt our GROUP4 team name is [FANTASTIC 4]!!!!..Yays!!GO!GO!GO!..Team Cheer goes..

Hahas..After thinking of the cheer,every team gt a chance to stand in front to perform their cheer..every group cheer was well done!

After tt had another lesson..Next..we went to the tables to discuss our group ground rules..

After having our ground rules,we were ask to set our personal goal,group shared vision and values..After tt had game of TUG-OF-WAR..Our group won 5 points for tt..=D

Later at night,we had night walk..Pamela stepped up..gosh..it was creepy la..we are suppose to walk throught the forest by feeling the nylon..i was holding to Ginia's and Bernard's hand..so nervous la..some ppl might noe wat i mean..then Bernard said something tt upset me..haiish..broke down..don noe wats wrong wit me..stupid la..Then had supper,bread and Milo..went to rm..had bath..watched Tv..Slept ard 12 plus..


DAY2-Woken up by Shimin..Thx! Our group tradition was to wait till other group taken their food before we take..then wait for our teammates to settle down before we eat..I thought tt was wat a leader should do..equal...After tt had some leson again..Paintball game was next and Wenda stepped up..felt useless..i don noe wat contribution can i give the group..all of them seemed to have some idea for the game but i just stood there quietly..i was very disappointed wit myself..oso felt left out from the group..anyways tt was expected b4 i went for the camp..I am always the un-noticed oneD=..There were 4 rounds to the game..I was in the last few to participate..cause the teammates already categories themsleves..I am fine wit anything..yup.. The team lost consecutively in 3 rounds..But we didnt ive up..instead the group thought of diff strategy..Soon it came to the 4 th round.Me ,Bernard and Pamela went in.wore a helmet,vest and neck protector. We wasnt in the mood alrdy . But we still have to do it. Gosh! we won that 4th round , we grabbed hold of the flag twice..Pamela and Bernard way to go!!I was very depressed..when we went out..the whole group gather arnd Bernard and Pamela..I was left out..walked away unnoticed..Kays..I noe i was jealous..but its like being in the group and nt feeling being in the group..the feeling is terrible la... Other grp had lots of points, whereas we had only 3\5 pts..At least the group did lot of improvement.. Next we had the Hula Hoop game.. Failed agn.Almost won but a bit of mistake we had to restart..We could have won..the time wasnt enough and other group won before us..another dissapointment... Last game was Tower of Hanoi. WE won 1st ! it was like the first ever game the team got 1st . It manged us to get 3rd out of 5 teams. It sort of bring up our morale..Lolx..Danial was like chiong arh !!! to gt more points..especially when the last nut was abt to reach the bottom..GREAT JOB TEAM!..Thx for the comment our facililator gave..it really give our group a motivation to do better and teamspirit gt much more better..tt game really cheer me up right after the sad paintball game..I was super hyper during the screwing part..JIA YOU JIA YOU 加油加油the team goes!!


After tt game..We had a post a comment activity..Wrote some comments for my group mates..


Later had another de-brief..Comment from the faclililator was tt i was too quiet but i don seemd to be tt type of person as i wrote many comment to others..is just tt i had a thinking tt i am quiet..i need to improve on tt and be a more out spoken person..Agree and thx for eur comment!


Tts night we left the camp site heading to the firefly river..We are suppose to think of"Wat if i am A star(not THE star)"..Tt night wasnt many firefly..manage to fell them as the boat gt closer to the bushes where the flies hides..At first we were quite dissapointed tt we cannot gt to see the firefly as only on side can see..my side couldnt see any..too far..later..as we move closer..i was very happy and satisfied as not only can i see it at a better view but oso feel it physically..OOOOOO!!!..Suddenly..a strike of thunder and of thunder and it started to rain heavily..i was soaked wet and drenched ..lolx..Went back to the camp site..had a de-brief to ans the qn"Wat if i am a star"..And the feeling we had when we went to see the flies..Went back to the room..Was watching a taiwan show..then the whole rm blacked out..heard some shouting outside our rm..then i went to open the rm..the whole entire resort was black out ..many torch light was shining..hahas..the view was nice..but..i hate it cause..I HATE TO BATHE WIT SUPER DUPER COLD WATER..:'(..rmb my house had black out and bathe wit cold water..freezing..unforgettable moment..i on my hp music at the blasting volume..open the toilet door slightly open..kk..admit i am scared of dark..it gives me goose bumps and i will start thinking wild..blek..After tt Vanessa and Jia Yun came into our room and ask if they could share room wit us as their rm had scorpians and other insects...EWWWW!!..Tt night was fun..lolx..can see"stars"shining abt..actually..it was the torch lights..:P


DAY 3-Was raining..The electricity was still under construction..I was dissapointed at first cause i was looking forward for the trekking but the weather condition demorolised me..watever..Had our breakfast then went for some briefing..YAYS!!The water trekking was cancelled but the hike wasnt cancelled=D..So happy..Its time for another leader to step up..so..i guess its time for me to show up..lolx..Mathew oso stepped up..so ya..our group this tine had two leader..me and mathew..I was the co-leader and mathew was the leader..yup..so we took turns to lead the group..i was the first to lead up the hill..the hill was slippery..many of the team memebers keep falling down..At first i was qite frustrated cause our team is the only group tt keep breaking the line..then gt reprimanded..after tt i learned something..be responsible..as a leader..eu cannot blame everything to eur members..when there is a mistake somewhere..instead of blaming others why nt find a solution to it..yup..tts wat i do..and..the plan works!!..our group did nt fell behind and managed to reach the submit..During the climbing..there were many leeches ..hahas..i didnt gt any bites..We preserved..encouraged each other..everyone was determined to reach the submit..yeps!!Tts the team spirit..After tt we had to clim up the rock face..it was toughat first...but after awhile it becomes much easier once eu gt the mood...Finally the whole group reached the submit..Had some food like canned Sardine,Canned beans,Boiled eggs and canned tuna..oh ya..biscuits..lolx..everyone was like so tired and out of breath..pheww!..The scenery of the hill was nice,quiet and peaceful..just love the moment of breeze..Few minutes later..we had to depart from the hill..Mathew's turn to lead the group..gosh..going down the hill was much tougher than climbing up the hill..the floor was super wet the everyone started slipping..I was the last..leon was super cool..he kept falling yet he still asked for my safety..thx!..He nv complain..just fall..dust and move on..The sky is getting darker as we climb down..temperature is getting hotter too..gosh..can even learn skating skills there..hahas..when the sky gt darker..we had to turn on our torch lights..Saw many stars above the sky..suddenly many scene of memories flashed in front of me..broke down..grhhh..damn it..i thought it would be a successful day for me..in the end still cannot cover up everything..useless..face the fact..something just cannot be forgotten when eu wan...let natural takes its cause..After tt..we sat on trucks tt they claimed"bangladesh"sat on then to go for work..lolx..the feeling when sitting on the truck was better than normal car..eu could feel the matural breeze when the truck moves..the sky was covered wit stars..romantic scene and feeling..unforgettable..reached the resort and we were allowed to enter the waterfall..hahas..CHIONG ARH!!..Me and ginia washed our shoes..Leon so funny larhs..nv play wit other guys..sitting aside watching them..Xiao Hui and I went to play at the waterfall slope..my butt hurts..ouch>.<..lolx..Rayyan gave me a light stick..so nice of him worx=D...Fun day..had BBQ..Which was our last dinner together..Had meat platter..fish balls..satays..agar agar..bee hoon..crab meat...etc..Electricity was back..Bath..packed luggage for next day's departure..





Day4-A memorable day..full of sadness..tears..knowledge..meaning..Last breakfast together..had some breifing..After tt we talked about our goal, vlaues ,experiences. & gave feedbacks, Each of us had a chance .Then we had a long de breif & wrote noted for each other.. had a last de breif and was the LAST most Heartwrenching one. We are to give gems to different who we appreciate or wanted to thank. Gosh..imediate tears came rushing down my eyes..Vanessa and I was like nv ending huggies..love her my meis..forever..Jia Yun came ..cried..lolx..made me bried even more..even Julia my pig..Thx guys..i really appreciate tt!..Received from Li zhI..Chin Kiang..Vanessa..Jia Yun..Vincci..Mathew..Ginia..Yu Ping..Julia..Kai Qi..many more.. NOw even i think of it, i still feel the care and concern. Then had a video of the days we spent in the camp prepared be Mr Said.. Then we checked out & went to JUSCO for shopping .Ate pizza Hut with wenda,vincci,ginia,julia,lizhi,chinkiang,leon,mireen,pamela...lolx..The rest of them because of time limit..left right after they finish lunch..leaving me,ChinKiang and Leon..then we went to shop around..Few mins left..Chin Kiang and I went to buy Doughnut..Will nv forget stuff i have learnt and ppl tt i have enjoyed being wit them..
